you cannot please God and men at the same time.
you have to pick which one is worth pleasing. which one is worth the time. which one is worth your energy and effort. and most importantly, which one you love the most.
oh and remember, you have the freedom of choice. so don’t feel imprisoned.
so if you feel.. empty and insulted because the people around you aren’t pleased or impressed or agree to what you are doing, then that’s fine. as long as you’re doing it for God. that’s all that matters.
